In response to the FDA statement made by Jessica Kocain

To the FDA Ombudsman, Miriam R. Burbach:
My complaint to the FDA Ombudsman about Jessica Kocain – Compliance Officer, Bothell, WA was her use of the following statement which she posted online, “That we determined your acidified & Sefood products are adulterated in that they may have been prepared, packed or held under insanitary conditions where by they may have been contaminated with filth or rendered injurious to health.”
Her statement is so far from the truth that it is difficult for me to understand how a person in her position can make such a damaging untrue statement when the only items we have been written up on were paperwork errors which were corrected ASAP. These errors were from the last FDA inspection of our small plant for a period of 5 days. This 5 day inspection reviewed 6 months of records and there was no findings of filth or contamination. It was more of a “got-you” type inspection of paper work.

In my opinion Jessica Kocain, FDA, may be an over educated idiot that has no practical experience and no common sense. It is obvious that she gets carried away with the power of her position and may not be qualified for a dishwashing job in the private sector.
It is unfortunate to have such a incompetent person in government working for us who’s false statement can and has been harmful to the sales efforts of our company.
We take great pride in the cleanliness of our facility and use only the best of ingredients in our products.
During our last inspection I asked the FDA inspector to show me the filth and contamination and he stated “he couldn’t.” Its hard to build a company and comply with all the regulations but we work hard to do this. We don’t need Kocains' power trip and ego to falsely damage us.
